I just had knee arthroscopy for miniscus tears. The surgery was supposed to have gone very well. Recovery was also very good. Very little pain. then about 4 weeks after surgery I gradually began to have pain inside my leg just below the knee. From what I can get from the internet it might be goosefoot bursitis. I went to my surgeon and he said it was bursitis and he gave me a cortisone injection. That was Friday, now it is Monday, and I am not getting much relief. I am a rather healthy moderately active 67 year old female with no previous knee problems or bursitis. I am not a runner, but an active gardener and grandmother. Should I be patient or go back to Dr.
